I love fonts. I think that typeface choice is a lost art for the most part. People aren’t spending as much time trying to find the right font. I am not sure why this is. I know locally there is a firm that seems to rehash the same font across every campaign they do….I mean sure it is a nice font but they make all the thing look the same.1> Do designer’s get comfortable with a certain font and roll with it?2> Are there too many fonts out there to pick from?
This article is great. Not only do they narrow the field down to a manageable 80 fonts they actually give examples of the fonts in the different states. This is a long list but if it helps just one designer try a new font it is worth it.I suggest taking a stop by the site and having a look for yourself. Who knows maybe you will be inspired and try a new font.CheersScott[Link]

Apple has done it again. The iMac has been redesigned and once again they continue to impress. The new iMac is a great looking piece of technology that has all the stuff inside to back up a sweet looking exterior. The new aluminum outer has the same look as the MBP.
Just when i thought a keyboard was a keyboard…..uhhh no …they redesigned that and made it look even better.

So they have not spared any expense on the new iMac. This is going to become my home computer in the very near future. It is quite reasonable in my books starting at $1199 for the 20″ and going up to $2299 for the 24″ with all the stuff.
I can’t wait for my next trip to the Mac Store then I can check this bad boy out in person.
Cheers

So as I had mentioned a while back i was invited to speak at the Mesh Conference held in May in Toronto. They have finally posted the videos of this amongst others from the Conference. This has been my first opportunity to see what I look like standing infront of a large crowd giving my talk about ConceptShare.

I am looking forward to Mesh 08. WE have made so many great friends and contacts. The Mesh experience is such a valuable one for anyone remotely involved with technology, media and new cool stuff. As always …huge kudos to the Mesh Guys.
These guys have built a great conference that caps a great year in the Toronto Tech Scene. I hope to see you there next year …and hope they do different shirts next year! (Black T’s are soooo web 1.0)
Cheers
